If you haven't already read it on Facebook, here is a list of 25 quirky things about me. Enjoy!
1. I really think I should start making one of these each year.
2. That's only because I change a lot from year to year.
3. I have so many friends, which I'm extremely thankful for, but I don't think any of them know who I really am. That kills me inside. Literally.
4. I almost fell out of a chair in the cafeteria in the 7th grade because my backpack outbalanced me.
5. I love writing and reading. I wish I had MORE time to incorporate them into my schedule. Or a device that spits all my thoughts into a movie or a book. That would be nice. :]
6. Ever since I learned how to write (both books and movie scripts) properly, I’ve been starting more and more stories, movies, and songs. I never finish any of them.
7. Glee! (Enough said.)
8. I’m genuinely afraid that I won’t end up with the perfect husband or the perfect life in general. Therefore, I turn away when people are fondling each other or making out.
9. I find it hard to believe all that nonsense about me being single because no one is good enough for me. I don’t know why.
10. I spell very well, but I still use spell check.
11. I like fantasizing things. It’s a great way to escape reality.
12. It’s hard for me to not be the best at everything.
13. I’m highly amused by things that should only impress little kids.
14. I like smiling. And greeting others with hugs. :)
15. My brother is sightreading in the next room. He’s a trumpet player.
16. When people argue or complain about what good things they do have, it really bothers me.
17. I’m also bothered by ignorant people. Especially ones who think Africa is a country. And poor grammar. I'm a grammar freak.
18. I think I’m bothered by the use of the term Africans. If you’d like to refer to them while you're talking to me, please use their country demonym just like you would when referring to people from India, America, or Mexico. (i.e. Ghana = Ghanaians, South Africa = South Africans, etc.)
19. The church and my faith mean the world to me. But so much has changed…
20. I love words! :D
21. It’s really hard for me to explain my weird and complex thoughts. No one bothers to listen anyway.
22. MLIA! :D If only some of them were real...
23. I miss the good old days.
24. I am in the process of coming up with a soundtrack/musical to go along with my life.
25. I have a lot of things I want to accomplish in life.
26. I’m left handed. That means I cheat at HORSE by calling “lefty” on all my shots, have problems performing any rapid flute passages with my right hand, play the guitar backwards (mainly because I’m too lazy to restring it), am the black sheep in my house, and have to remember which hand to use when grabbing food or shaking hands.
27. Taylor Swift’s songs in one way or another parallel my life.
28. I want to be 3-5 inches shorter than I currently am. Don’t ask why.
