- Rick Perry – My governor. I’ve decided that I will never vote for this man. Not in the next presidential election (my first as a legal voter), not in the ones after that—never.
- SMU Football—you can’t consider yourselves "the Mustangs" if you are NOT the football powerhouse you claim to be. The Mustangs are a name reminiscent of a football DYNASTY, not a football DO-nasty. (I’m sorry Ricardo, Jackie, and Spencer. I just had to say it.)
- Some Kind of Wonderful—Key of E Major. Michael Buble.
- Divine—God.
- Steve Jobs—A remarkable soul--a genius-- whose passing reminds us all that life is so short.
- Relationship Status—Can’t we all just be married to one another? Can’t we all just be in love?
- Childhood Obesity—I am still pretty large. It seems to carry on through adolescence, young adulthood.
- Sarah Palin--Nope. Just no.
